 In the fall of 1991, a group of Corvette enthusiasts began meeting socially. April of 1992, the Pocono Mountains Corvette Club was officially started with 21 members.  In 1993, PMCC became a member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs and was officially sanctioned.

The PMCC is an organization comprised of a friendly group of Corvette enthusiasts who join together to enjoy their Corvettes and each other's company.  During the course of the year, PMCC sponsors and participates in various insured activities such as car shows, autocross racing, drag racing, rallies, field trips, tech help, and social events.  A percentage of the proceeds from all events are donated to various local charities.  Monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the
