President Ralph called the February monthly meeting of the PMCC to order at
7:00. There were 28 members present. A motion was made and passed to
accept the December Meeting Minutes which were distributed via e-mail
and/or hard copy. Treasurer’s report was given. Please check
www.ernccc.org for flyers and information for upcoming events.

*Governor’s Report:*
· John reviewed the 2012 sanctioned dates. All dates that were
requested were approved. It was necessary for him to have chairpersons
assigned for each sanction. He will now be filling out the request for
insurance coverage and developing the NCCC flyers for all the events.**
· NCCC has a new insurance carrier which is Legacy Insurance
Network. John stressed the fact that under the new coverage it is
necessary for us to publicly post any events or activities that we would
like insurance coverage. To fulfill this requirement, send an e-mail to
John outlining your event or activity at least 3 days prior to its
occurrence.**
· If anyone is interested in purchasing a hard bound copy of “100
Years of Chevrolet”. This book chronicles the history of Chevy and is
being published to celebrate its 100th year anniversary. The book normally
retails for $60 plus shipping. NCCC is providing it to clubs for $45 plus
shipping. For each book sold the club will receive a $6 rebate. John will
be sending out an e-mail.**
*Old Business:*
· Michele gave an update on the 1-29-12 Brunch at Mt. Haven.
Twenty-four
members attended the brunch. The food was good as the fellowship.**
· Ralph spoke about the NY Car Club Assoc. having a dinner at the
Otisville Correction Facility on 2/18/12. Each club was asked to
contribute 5 covered dishes. Ralph will contact them as there was no
interest in anyone attending. No one from PMCC attended the last meeting.**
*New Business:*
· Ralph spoke about the 4-15-12 Double Rallye. He is looking for a
place to start the rallye in the Montague /Port Jervis area. It was
suggested to use the Welcome Center.**
· A Nomination Committee has been formed for 2012-2014
Officers. Please
contact Jay Weiss if you are interested in holding an officer position
within PMCC. Mike Kr and Brian Kuen are also on the committee.**
· Dues were due January 1, 2012. Kindly submit your dues with a
completed membership application as soon as possible.
· John asked if we should delete the “for sale page” on the website.
Members voted to retain the page. If anyone has items for sale or they are
looking to buy, please send an e-mail to John and he will post it.
· John shared with the group that there are various activities
throughout the tri-state area that focus on auto collectibles and
memorabilia. He will keep the club informed as to when these activities
will occur. The Gas Bash in Orange Conn. is February 17 & 18. Hamburg
Swap Meet and Kutztown Antique Fair will be held March 3 & 4.
· NCRS Workshop will be at Klick Lewis on 4-14-12.
· Kids Day at Watkins Glen is July 25th. John collected money and
registration forms. If anyone is still interested, please contact John.
· The East Region Teen Driving School is May 20th at the Carlisle
Fairgrounds. Please contact John if you have interest in helping.
· Mike/Michele/Jack spoke about the 6-2-12 Four Sanctioned NCCC Car
show that will be held at Milford Chrysler. Milford Chrysler has been very
generous and will be paying for the DJ, 15-20 Trophies, $150 towards the
food, and some advertising. Mike found a family in need in the area. His
name is Christopher Sommer and is a 16 year old heart transplant recipient.
Partial proceeds of the show will go to Christopher and two other local
area charities. Flyers and donation forms will be available at the March
meeting.
· Eagle Watch outing will be 2-26-12 at 11:00. Michele will send
out an e-mail as to where the group will meet.
· Welcome Spring Dinner will be March 25th, 2012 at 2:00 at the
River Rock (Milford, Pa.) at their new location. Menu was reviewed with
members. The cost is $29 (this amount *includes* tax & gratuity) per
person. A sign-up sheet will be available at the March meeting.
· Michele made a motion to use a quilt as a fund raiser for this
year’s two car shows and the holiday party. The quilt was purchased at an
auction for $35. The motion was voted on and passed.
· It was made known there may be additional postage expense as past
members are requesting packet information for the Booth Bay Harbor, Maine
Anniversary trip.
· Judy spoke about the White Mills Fire Department Roast Beef
Dinner on 4/29/12. You can meet at Jay & Judy’s house or the fire house
after 12:00. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
· Jack made a motion to have $200 sent to Christopher Sommer, which
was voted on and passed. John donated his winnings from the 50/50 to go to
Christopher S. A check for $250 will be sent.
*National Corvette Museum Ambassador Report:*
· Michele mentioned brochures are available for the NCM Brick
program, NCM Membership program, and the NCM auto insurance. Upcoming
events are listed in the Jan/Feb Newsletter. No one from PMCC won the
2/2/12 raffle for the Torch Red Vette.**

*Other Business:*
· A certificate of Appreciation from Flight 93 for the support from
PMCC was shown to members. A poster was also given to the club.
· The Commander’s Award from United States Marine Corps Reserve
Toys for Tots for outstanding support was shared with members.
· Thank You Mike and Bob for purchasing 10 club chairs.
· Ralph thanked members for the fruit basket, cards, and phone
calls. It helped the mending process.
